Why Country Music will always be in demand.
Country Music is about more than just dancing in a club.It has been around for over 100 years, but I think it is time for the Country Music industry to look back at its roots and learn from its mistakes.
I read an interview with a Nashville “bigwig” with a unique voice and thought it summed it up in a nutshell.Here is a short clip from the article, but I recommend watching it all.
The point of this rant is to make an observation, not to debate whether the interview was genuine or not. It may be, it may not be. Either way it brought to my attention an observation which, as a fan, I was not aware of before. When we first heard of this album we did not even think about it. It was just an album released by some obscure band. As time went on, it became more and more obvious that the artist in question were more than just just some band, but that is not the point I am making. The point I am making is that we have got to start looking at country music as if we had never heard country music before.
Country music was born somewhere around the early 1800’s in the United States of America. It was at this time that a genre of music was first started. This is no insult to the hard working men who made this art form possible at that time.
